Principles of Physics I (PHYS-101L)

This lab course is a companion to your physics course covering the basic principles of mechanics without calculus, allowing you to learn concepts related to the course (some of which may be covered in lecture, some not) in a more hands-on, participatory way. You will also develop and understand the necessity of good experimental technique – tools we all use as we make discoveries and advances in science-based fields.

Labs:

  1. Mechanics Lab Skills
  2. Constant Acceleration
  3. Newton’s Laws
  4. Projectile Motion
  5. Conservation of Energy
  6. Centripetal Acceleration
  7. Rolling and Inertia
  8. Simple Harmonic Oscillator
